小黄鸭导航 ISD is dedicated to providing ongoing, customized professional learning for its employees. To emphasize personalized professional development, the district has set aside two Professional Learning Exchange Days (PLED) for campus-based exempt staff. These days allow staff to exchange two regular work days for two non-duty days focused on professional learning that enhances skills in key district areas.

PLED days are intended to support professional growth by encouraging participation in learning opportunities that improve your role, align with district priorities, and lead to better student outcomes.

Exchange Days for the 2024-2025 小黄鸭导航 Year

The PLED days for the 2024-2025 academic year are scheduled for Friday, October 4, 2024 and Friday, March 14, 2025, as indicated on the  AISD District Calendar.  These days will remain on the calendar and are non-duty days for all campus-based exempt employees.

Required Special Education and MTSS Focus Pathways and Modules

In order to prioritize the completion of TEA Special Education and MTSS Pathways and modules within the specified deadlines, we will not offer additional, PLED-eligible professional learning opportunities or accept external credit requests for the 2024-2025 school year.  The expectation is  that staff will complete assigned training and professional learning requirements for Special Education and MTSS on designated district professional learning days. Evidence of completion will be verified.

For any assigned staff absent on a professional development day for which there is required professional learning around special education/MTSS, the expectation is that you utilize the assigned PLED days for make-up and completion in order to receive PLED credit.

Staff can find ongoing updates on SPED and MTSS module completion requirements and pacing guides within the AISD + TEA Partnership tile in the AISD Staff Portal.
