2024 Summer Learning Options

Summer Project Based Learning Camp

Summer PBL Camp Summer PBL Camp will be hosted at 2 Middle С��Ѽ�� hub sites, offering an in-person summer enrichment program in the month of June. Students will engage in an integrated project based curriculum (PBLWorks) that covers math, English, social studies and science. Planned activities are designed for in-person collaboration that fosters camaraderie and critical thinking.

Register by Friday, March 8, 2024.
Dates: June 3 - 20 (Mon.–Thurs.)
Times: 8:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Hub site location: Bedichek, Webb

Special Summer Programs

Multilingual

Students in current grades 6th, 7th, and 8th who qualify as newcomers (1 - 3 years in US schools).

Register by April 5

AVID

Course: 7th Accelerated Math AVID Summer Bridge

AVID Summer Bridge is designed to strengthen students' math skills over the summer to prepare for 7th grade Accelerated Math. Deadline to with transportation is April 15, 2023. Registration for students who do not need transportation is open until May 10, 2024.

June 5-15 (No Fridays)
8:45 am -1:00 pm
Three locations: Dobie, Paredes, or Martin

AVID Summer Bridge está diseñado para fortalecer las habilidades matemáticas de los estudiantes durante el verano para prepararse para el séptimo grado en matemáticas. La fecha límite para registrarse es el 15 de abril de 2024.
