United Way for Greater С»ÆѼµ¼º½

С»ÆѼµ¼º½ ISD is proud to partner with on a two-year innovation implementation grant from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to develop and organize high-quality Child Development Centers (CDCs) for current Pre-K-3 and Pre-K-4 programs.

This partnership will support and expand AISD’s current mission to offer high-quality early childhood instruction, creating options at local Child Development Centers for three- and four-year-olds. It creates full-day options for working families, which is a priority of AISD and the greater С»ÆѼµ¼º½ community. In these creative learning environments, parents can be confident that their child is receiving high-quality education from committed professionals.

High-quality learning environments, like the AISD Pre-K Partnership, help start children on a path to success in kindergarten and beyond! Not every child walks into the door ready for kindergarten; however programs like Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 provide children with the foundation for a healthy and productive future!

AISD and United Way will provide support to Child Development Centers including recruitment and co-enrollment of eligible children and increased professional learning opportunities for teachers that will lead to more children attending high-quality programs.

AISD and United Way believe in the importance of creating a community where everyone can succeed! Quality education during early childhood is an investment for our children's future.
