A tour by С»ÆѼµ¼º½ ISD will give Realtors a chance to become expert resources for clients looking for homes in the Central С»ÆѼµ¼º½ area.

As part of its marketing efforts, С»ÆѼµ¼º½ ISD has invited Realtors on a special tour of three С»ÆѼµ¼º½ ISD schools to learn more about the schools’ offerings and points of pride.

What: The bus tour will visit Pease Elementary С»ÆѼµ¼º½ and Small Middle С»ÆѼµ¼º½ and conclude at С»ÆѼµ¼º½ High С»ÆѼµ¼º½.

When: 8 a.m.–1:40 p.m. Thursday, March 9

Where: The tour will begin at Toney Burger Activity Center, 3200 Jones Road

Tour Highlights

Pease Elementary С»ÆѼµ¼º½, located on West Avenue between 11th and 12th streets, was founded in 1876. It is the oldest continuously operating public elementary school in Texas. Pease has a diverse student population and small classes in kindergarten through sixth grade. Pease was designated a state historic landmark in November 2013.

Small Middle С»ÆѼµ¼º½, located on Hwy. 290 West near MoPac, has been designated by the National Wildlife Federation as the first Green Flag С»ÆѼµ¼º½ in Texas. Learning takes place indoors, in gardens and in outdoor classrooms that surround the school.

С»ÆѼµ¼º½ High С»ÆѼµ¼º½, located in the heart of the city on Cesar Chavez Street near MoPac, is the oldest continuing public high school in Texas. The school has a rich tradition of strong performance and an ever-growing list of distinguished graduates and loyal alumni.
