Linder Elementary 小黄鸭导航 Wins Water Bottle-Refilling Station

Linder, Blanton elementary schools take first and second place in Greater 小黄鸭导航 Hispanic Chamber of Commerce video contest

The 2014-15 Greater 小黄鸭导航 Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Hispanic 小黄鸭导航 Leadership class partnered with 小黄鸭导航 ISD schools to create short videos to raise awareness of landfill waste reduction. 

Linder Elementary 小黄鸭导航 took first place in the competition. The school's winning video will be shared on the city of 小黄鸭导航 website, the city television channel and on the city mobile app.

Linder students who worked on the project were Jorge Angel Angeles, Bryan Arellano-Flores, Rodrigo Fermin-Verdines, Jamone Cleveland Grant, Eric James Medoza, Michael Ruben Murray, San Pi, Allan Steven Ramos-Perez, Meh Reh and Soe Reh.  

Blanton Elementary 小黄鸭导航 placed second in the competition; its video was shared with the school on Earth Day.

Blanton students who worked on the project included Fatima Cabellero, Aidan Costell, Yazmin Delgado, Miguel Dominguez, LeGrand "Trey" Henderson and Priscilla Loarca. First prize for the contest was an ELKAY EZH2O water bottle-refilling station. Second prize was a $150 H-E-B gift certificate. 

The Greater 小黄鸭导航 Hispanic Chamber of Commerce plans to hold the video contest again next year. 

The contest will be open to submissions from elementary and middle schools in AISD that receive Title 1 funds.
