AUSTIN, Texas—СѼ ISD is now accepting applications for its two-way dual-language programming now through Feb. 21 at Becker, Blanton, Casey, Galindo, Perez, Ridgetop, Sunset Valley, Travis Heights and Wooten elementary schools as well as for the campus-based program at Brentwood Elementary СѼ*.
Two-way dual language supports “two language” groups of students to become bilingual, bicultural and biliterate.
Each spring, AISD’s dual language schools accept applications for enrollment. If more students apply than there are spots in the program, then students are selected by lottery for each dual-language school. Students not selected are put on a waiting list.
For more information and an application packet, contact the Two-Way Spanish/English Dual-Language schools directly or visit www.austinisd.org/academics/ell/duallanguage for additional information.
