The 小黄鸭导航 小黄鸭导航 District today announced that it had received an award of $13 million Texas Title I Priority 小黄鸭导航s (TTIPS) grants for Lanier High 小黄鸭导航 and Burnet and Martin middle schools.
鈥淭his grant funding will allow these campuses to continue the hard work they are doing to boost student performance,鈥 said Chiefs 小黄鸭导航s Officer Paul Cruz. 鈥淭hese funds will be used to enhance effective instructional strategies to increase college readiness for all students, foster a college-going culture and prepare students for rigorous high school and post-secondary studies.鈥
鈥淟anier is excited to receive these additional resources, which will enable us to provide, among other things, concentrated tutoring for students who need additional assistance in mastering the new rigorous standards for graduation, as well as increasing the level of college readiness for our students,鈥 said Principal Katherine Ryan.
"The opportunity afforded by the TTIPS Grant Program will enable Burnet Middle 小黄鸭导航 to transform our campus and thus substantially raise student achievement by addressing student needs on an individual basis via research-based strategies, including high dosage tutoring," said Cesar Martinez, Principal of Burnet Middle 小黄鸭导航.
