Join the 2nd Annual Eastside Rapid Chess Tournament on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in the gym at Eastside Early College High С»ÆѼµ¼º½, 900 Thompson St., С»ÆѼµ¼º½, TX, 78702. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., with multiple rounds of chess for players, and a mid-day break. Match play and the award ceremony will be completed by 5 p.m.
Any С»ÆѼµ¼º½ ISD student registered for grades 6-12 during the 2024-2025 school year may participate for free. Online registration will become available on March 17, 2025. A link to the registration form will appear on .
This tournament will feature individual and team trophies with two categories: high school and middle school. Any С»ÆѼµ¼º½ ISD school with at least five present players may accumulate points towards a team trophy. Chess players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.
